For Teachers

Safety Instructor Ed Lanz talks about
the Hazard House during a visit to
Centennial Elementary

One of the reasons the United States has the worst fire statistics in the world is the lack of fire safety education in the classroom. The National Fire Protection Agency has developed two proven highly successful curriculums in "Learn Not to Burn" and "Risk Watch."

Connie Forster is the contact for schools and has begun to work with local teachers in implementing this into the standards curriculum.
