Fire Prevention


Fire prevention is the best way to
fight a fire.

Fire prevention is a partnership between the department and the community. To make this partnership work, the people and the department need to work together to guarantee the safety of the community.

There are three aspects of fire prevention. Code Enforcement, Investigations, and Public Education. Each is explained below.
